Always had an interest in accounting, started doing tax returns in college, graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Business Administration, minor in Accounting. After graduation worked for Broadlawns Medical Center in the finance department and as acting/temporary CFO at Pacifica Health Services after assisting with Pacifica’s management buyout of multiple nursing homes, assisted living and independent living facilities in the Des Moines area. After leaving Pacifica started own accounting and tax practice in 2004 and continue providing tax and accounting services in the Des Moines area along with clients in multiple other states.
